THE LOOK THAT DOES JUSTICIA
The Justicia neighborhood, in the heart of Madrid, has become one of the city's most fascinating areas over the years. Many call it Madrid's Soho, but what truly defines it is its blend: the traditional coexists with the new, the familiar with the latest trends.
For us, it's much more than a neighborhood; it's home and our beloved Barquillo store, our space to welcome people from all over the world who know how to make the most of their looks with any of our jewelry.
"People come in here, sit down, try things out, hesitate, stay longer than expected... and often end up telling us their story. And that, in the end, is what we like the most."
WHAT TO DO IN THE JUSTICE NEIGHBORHOOD
Our essentials
Justicia has changed a lot in recent years. It's become vibrant, full of cafes, new brands, and exciting new offerings. But it also makes us reflect on balance: how to grow without losing its identity, how to evolve without ceasing to be a neighborhood.
Because what's special about Justicia isn't just what's new. It's what remains.
This isn't a list of "the best places in Madrid," but rather a very personal selection of spots that are part of our daily lives and that, in some way, tell the story of the neighborhood.

🌿 HALMMA
An unexpected oasis in the heart of the city.
One of the places we've been hearing the most about lately is Hammam Al Ándalus Madrid.
Inspired by ancient Arab baths, it offers an experience that blends architecture, water, and tranquility. In an area where everything moves at a fast pace, finding a space like this is truly special.

☕️ JAMES TWEED COFFEE
A piece of Scotland in Madrid.
It's a project with a Scottish soul, where coffee coexists with textiles, objects, and cultural references that transport you away from Madrid for a while.
It began as a combination shop and café, closely linked to the world of textiles and British style, and that's evident in every detail. It's one of those places where everything is carefully considered, but nothing feels forced.

🍽 QUINCÉ
The neighborhood's new gastronomic energy.
Just a few meters from our shop is Quincé, one of the neighborhood's newest restaurants.
Its concept revolves around seasonal produce, with a dynamic kitchen that constantly changes according to the market and the team's creativity. There's no set menu here: everything evolves, just like the neighborhood itself.
It also has something we particularly love: that feeling of a small place where things are happening, where the kitchen and dining room interact, and where the wine is as important as the food.

🍄 EL CISNE AZUL
A timeless classic.
In a constantly evolving neighborhood, some places remain.
El Cisne Azul has been one of Madrid's leading culinary destinations for decades.Specializing in mushrooms, it's famous for maintaining that old-fashioned, unpretentious tavern atmosphere. Here, you come for what you come for: quality ingredients, tradition, and that authentic, local touch that's increasingly hard to find. And it's always packed. Always.

🥔 LA PAPA
A new treat.
One of our latest discoveries has been La Papa.
A small, almost intimate space where everything is done with care. It's not your typical "trendy" spot, and that's precisely why we love it so much.
Here, the brunches have something special: you can tell they're thoughtfully prepared, carefully crafted, and made without rushing.C/ Barquillo, 20

👜 REPARACIÓN DE BOLSOS
The secret only shared with those who will truly appreciate it.
On Gravina Street, there's one of those places that doesn't appear on Google Maps as a "top" spot, but should.
A workshop where they repair high-quality handbags with a level of detail rarely found these days.
One of those places that reminds you that true luxury is taking care of what you already have.

⚓️ NAÚTICA ROBINSON
Stepping inside is like traveling without leaving your home.
Although Justicia doesn't have a beach, it boasts one of the best bookstores specializing in maritime topics, absolutely unique in Madrid.
Technical magazines, novels, works on naval history, scuba diving and marine life, nautical charts...

🧞♂️ EBC LÁMPARAS
Your wish is that it's open.
The small workshop of artist Enrique Bravo Ceballos creates stunning lampshades that adorn prestigious hotels. Among his clients is actress Julianne Moore, who was captivated when she stayed at the Only You Hotel in Barquillo and didn't hesitate to commission him to create the lamps for her New York residence.
Difficult to find open… but it's worth persisting.C/ Santo Tomé, 8

THE SURPRISE
And to understand just how special Justicia is, consider this: even Walton Goggins chose to live here for a few months while filming in Madrid.
We were lucky enough to meet him in our store and give him a pair of Coolook cufflinks that commemorate his time in the city.
You can see it on our Instagram.
